What happened the Living TV DOG -- now looks very obvious onscreen and not as neat/stylish. They must have changed it recently, IMHO it was much smarter before and not as in your face onscreen.

New branding since the middle of the week, new idents and new logo, hence the thicker dog. Not as pretty, I agree.

Yes, I don't like the design at all.

It looks like they are trying to move the station away from its image of being a channel primarily for women. I guess it hasn't worked as I don't like the new look!

Thought I was going mad and was the only one who noticed it.. .But yes, it's dog-ugly (get it? :D )

Is there no way these onscreen bugs can be made more transparent?

    I'm sure it's possible if they'd bother.

TG4 used to have an excellent and very transparent DOG but of late they seem to have made it more visible onscreen. Personally I think the indents at break time and during programme change are enough to identify a channel but then that's just me.

The broadcasters should credit people with more intelligence that we the viewing public actually know what channel we are watching and don't need a constant reminder, we're not a gang of goldfish with 5 or 10 second memories :) They'd be better served spending the time and money working on new and interesting programme content to lure us to their channel and keeping us there, again another personal opinion!
