ok this happened in a pub game(STT) and it is self deal.

in this hand the only 2 players that matter are player A(dealer) and player B(BB)
playerA raises preflop and playerB calls flop is 7 J k x x

playerB goes all in and he covers, playerA says i call and puts his chips in the pot and says "i have king jack"

but when playerA turns over his cards he actually has 3 cards with King jack and a 5 in the middle.
playerB has the best hand with 77

I was not involved in this game and at the time they decided call it a bum deal and give everyone there chips back and redeal.
    What should happen?

Player A's hand should be dead as soon as it's found out that he has 3 cards. How did he miss it all the way through the hand?
    Player B win!

he said he looked once and seen KJ and when he turned them over he slammed them down and the 5 appeared.
I thought at the time his hand should be dead but i wasnt in the game i was just watching so didnt want to get involved. the player with 77 wasnt happy at all

Hand is dead. Happened to me once with a sticky deck. Saw AQ and never looked back at my cards until I laid down AQ6 face up after the river. lol.
