I'm getting a memory stick pro duo for my PSP but just wondering is there a difference because some just say memory stick and others say memory stick for gaming? I want one for both movies and games?
    Any advice?

    Thanks

As far as I know, there is no difference.

Hey just anothequestion about PSP memroy sticks. I have a 2gb one and have used Xilisoft DVD to iPod(I knows its iPod but its the same format isn't it?) converter to rip my dvd to MPEG-4 MOVIE( this is .mp4 right?) format how the hell do i get this on my PSP?

Ive tried putting it in all the folders in E:/MP_ROOT but nothing except when I had it in the 100MV101 Folder it was recognised on my PSP but said it was unsupported data?

Any help please? Really want to get some movies on my PSP!!

    Thanks again!

The folder for the mp4 file to go into is E:/MP_ROOT/100MNV01

While i dont know about the dvd to ipod converter the file you need is indeed mpeg-4, but as well as the .mp4 file you need a .thm file. Does your dvd to ipod create those two files?

Your file names for one movie should be something like M4Vxxxxx.mp4 and M4Vxxxxx.thm where the x's are the same 5 digit number for both files.

i use pspvideo9 for converting my movies to mp4 format, mayhaps give them a go.

    hope that may help

If you don't plan to use it for any large data storage you obviously don't need a big one... just spend what you want to spend... game saves are generally quite small. Movies are dead handy on it for flights though, i'd rethink your decision.
