C&C on a beach pic If ye'd be so kind

I can't make my mind up about this pic so I'd appreciate the opinions of the lovely folks here.

Taken on a rainy overcast day so I burned the sea a bit to darken it. Thing is I'm not sure how much I should burn it.

Does my unwitting subject look a bit too dark?

I think a square crop would suit it nicely - The footprints at the bottom are nice and all, but if you cropped off all but 3 of them, and kept in the walker and waves, I think it would look really nice.

Played around with the crop a bit.
Think you're right, it looks a bit nicer without so many foot prints.

looks better now after crop - i would crop it a bit more , maybe get rid of some of the sea , the highlight is the walker and the footprints -- nice subject and mood.

I was quite fond of having a lot of sea visible but it does seem to look nicer with much of it cropped out.

Thought of removing the name but I don't think it impacts on the image. I made it a little darker though, so it's less noticeable.
