difficulty seeing Jpegs in emails

I use hotmail. when i get an email with attached Jpegs All i can see it a small box with a small red x in it. I have to click on the attachment to download it to see it. Help

That's normal it is a security precaution.

Depending on what program you use you can alter the settings for it.
