Graphics res issue

    Looking for some advice, I'm using an Acer C311xmi laptop with an Acer AL1916W 19" widescreen LCD.

    The laptop has an Mobile Intel(R) 82915GM/GMS/910GML Express Chipset , I'm using the latest intel drivers for it and i've installed the driver for the monitor from the Acer site.

    After reinstalling Windows XP Pro I can't get the monitor to display its native res of 1440x900 (had it previously). I've checked the .inf file for the monitor and it has an entry in there for the 1440 setting.

    Has anyone any suggestions , something I might have over looked ?
