Live Disconnects - Weird Problem

Hey, I didn't know whether to post this in the Pro Evo forum or here but I figured here. Me and a friend have been playing Pro Evo online regularly against each other since well before Christmas no bother. In the past 2 weeks or so we can barely get through a game without the little spinning circle coming up and then on my screen it tells me my opponent has quit. If I wait a sec, the game continues with this message still on my screen and we can still talk away. In fact we can still play although obviously I can't see what's going on and as soon as I press shoot I go back to the match setup screen.

This doesn't happen when I play anyone else online, and it doesn't happen when he's playing anyone else online! What could be the problem? Neither of us have changed any router/network settings. Sometimes, the game will continue after a second as normal but mostly it says he's quit, even though he hasn't. Seems like some sort of synchronisation issue, but why only between me and him?! It's very frustrating. I'm with BT broadband and I can't remember who he's with. I was also thinking it was an Irish server thing, but I'm sure I would've heard other people complaining of the same if that was the case.

Any ideas anyway? Anything I could possibly try?

thats a very strange problem,what happens on your friends screen?can he still play as normal?

Yeah he can still play, as can I except the message saying he's quit the session is there. He gets the freeze but then it continues, while I get the message saying he's quit.

similar thing happens to me when my phone rings !!! my eircom wireless phone seems to disconnect my wireless broadband i can reconnect straight away but cant gigure out why this is happening .
