Rebel72. Hi, i'm not an expert but had this problem ALOT with my Sky dish due to an "oversight" by the installers, nuts were not tightened fully my dish would just swing on it's arm in any bit of wind and hence lose signal, had to physically go out and position the dish myself, drove my head in till i tightened them myself.

So with my experiences i may be able to help, is it on all channels or just some? if it's only a few then they should come back shortly, happens to some of the channels from time to time, no problem at your end.

If it's all the channels could be (A) dish hasn't moved, but due to the bad weather the signal can't be picked up properly, signal has "weakened" there is nothing you can do(to the best of my knowledge) but wait till it picks up, again no problem on your end.If it's (B) Dish has been moved by high winds, you'll have to get it moved back to it's original position, either do it yourself or get a knowledgeable person to do it, it's not easy by yourself :( .

The way you figure out which problem you have (from my experience) is on your Sky remote press "Services" then "System Setup" finally "Signal test" on the screen you should see "input 1 signal strength" etc etc.. on the "INPUT 1 LOCK INDICATOR" if OK is there your problem is (A) and turning it off and on again, might fix this, if it says LOCKED it's problem (B) dish will physically have to be moved.

Hope it's Sky you have after all that...:D if so hope it helps, again i'm not an expert but if you wanna PM with any question feel free.

    Alan.
