    Just a few pics... :)

    I rented an Alpha Duetto for a day on my holidays in Cape Town a couple of weeks ago. Did an amazing trip all around the Cape, on mostly windy coastal roads.

    Cost about €100 with this crowd - highly recommended!

    They are lovely cars. I love the dished steering wheel - but hate the way the gear shifter is mounted.

    Yeah true, how was the gearbox shift anyways. I recall they can be baulky trying for second !

    Sadly my brother in Italy sold the one he's had for 15 years only last week.

    What a lovely motor, it really made our trips over to see him even more enjoyable, and funnily when I asked my then girlfriend if she prefered it to our MX5 she said, MX5 is more comfortable but I wish it sounded like the Alfa, I knew from then this was the women I'd marry - and I did. :)

    Sorry for getting all nostalgic - what a truely lovely car.

    Nail on the head there!

    Lovely on the open road - but crunching up through the gears in Dublin traffic is not something I'd fancy.
