Neteller problems

I've been trying to register an account with them for over a month and they haven't validated my bank account with a test deposit yet.
I'm caught with a pile of money in full tilt that I have no other way of getting at - they won't allow withdrawal to the depositing card and are quoting a month after verification for a cheque. I tried neteller because it seemed like the fastest cheapest option. Now they are not replying to mails or returning calls.

Anyone know any options for quick ways of cashing out other than to wait for them to validate my current account?

Try telling your situation to cindy [at] neteller.com. She was on the ball when I had the same problem.

Yea they have all the details and I resent them.
I left the phone on speaker this morning and after 90 minutes holding  I got an answer from some guy who said he was able to send another test deposit there and then, so I'll just have to sit back and wait till next week to see if it arrives this time.

If it doesn't happen by next Mon Tue I'll try Cindy, Thanks.

I recently did a withdrawal from Neteller back to my current a/c and it took twice as long as usual. From reading on other forums I know others have had worse delays.

Neteller are in a bit of disarray at the mo, what with all the US players a/cs being frozen and investigation by the us dept of justice. Will take another few weeks before things settle down, I reckon.

Also, are you sure that FT will allow you cash out to a Neteller a/c if you used a credit card to deposit? (just read OP again - seems strange they won't withdraw to card!!)

BTW nice forum for poker with an Irish slant. :)

Yea, they'll allow deposits from Irish cards (even if issued by an American Bank!), but you have to use Neteller or one of the other services to withdraw... the only alternative is to wait for a Month for a Dollar cheque which will lose a good bit more more in conversion and take longer to clear than neteller (Well, than Neteller would if it was working properly)

The refund situation a bit strange OK, the reasons seem to be that they would have to do cardholder verification (utility bill, register of electors and phone call etc.) and that is something they can subcontract to the likes of Neteller who they were already using to dodge around all the American legal grey areas.
Technically there is no reason why they shouldn't allow refunds to the depositing card, except that they might be required to remove the player to player transfer facility (and with it all those idiot beggars that rail every FT "Hey man, great play I'm sorry to ask but you couldn't spot me $5, I'll pay you back " Does anyone ever really give them money or are they just so stupid that they think someone will ? )

I just got some money today that I withdrew last week.

I had the same problem with Neteller when I initially registered. They'd made a slight eror with my IBAN number. Not sure if its the same for you but might be worth a go.

Having heard all of the recent talk about neteller I decided to take out a test amount, 60$ that was sitting in my neteller account.

Next day I log into neteller and my account has been closed

I rang up and they said it's a security reason, I used the same PC i always use.
I left a message on their security answering machine and emailed them, no reply yet, 2days so far.

    Time to email cindy@netller!?

    Hi Peter,

I'm having the same problem at the moment -they've received all my documentation and I receivedan email confirming my accou t had been activated. But I still haven't received the test deposit in order to validate my bank account online......

also anyone know if you can use 3v (visa) vouchers to deposit money into neteller? -just you can't use them to deposit onto gambling sites but can for most online transactions...
    cheers
