Round the world trip- what visas do we need?

Hi, we're flying to Mexico City on Mar 21st, then plan on going to Cuba, Belize, Guatemala and down in to South America including most of the usual countries.

We then have a flight from Chile to NZ in September, then Oz, Bali...hope to then go to Vietnam, Cambodia & India.

The thing is we haven't organised any visas in advance and now are only 5 weeks from leaving. Any suggestions on what we absolutely have to do before we leave or will we be able to organise most of them en route?

Also, we were going to organise working visas for both Oz & NZ, is there a fast way of doing this?

    All recommendations welcome!

Working visa for Oz doesnt take anytime at all, so dont worry about that. Apply for it now, a lot of places do insurance deals with the visa. Theres a place in Temple Bar in Dublin that do a good deal, cant remember their name off hand.

You will need to get vaccinations for certain countries in South America, and you will need to do this now. You can not go into Australia without a vaccination booklet, I went from south america to Australia and needed to show this when I arrived. If you do not have this you will be put in quarintine. An guy in forn of us when we arrived had this happen to him, he was taken away by security at the airport, didnt look nice! There are specific vaccination clinics about, so have a look int he phoine book for the nearest one to you. They will tell you what you need to get. In South America, you wont be able to go to Columbia or Paraguay without a visa, and these are hard enough to get, so wouldnt have those as places to visit.
