    Hi,

Finally decided to use poker tracker properly. I just want to get opinions on the following. I have read a bit about what the stats mean etc and what is passive/aggressive etc

You hear people regularly referring about opponents as they were 20/7/2 or just 20/7 is this the following stats they refer to:

    VP$IP/PFR/TOT-AF(Total Agrression post flop)

And also would these be accurate guidelines or are they too vague and need to be adjusted

    VP$IP
    <25% tight
    25-40% Slightly loose
    40%+ loose

    PFR%
    <= 6 Passive
    7+ Agrressive

    TOT-AF
    <1.2 Passive
    >1.2 Aggressive

    Thanks

Thats about right on the whole.
    2 AF isn't hugely aggressive.
And 10%PFR isn't all that aggressive either.

    PFR%

    11+ loose

    TOT-AF

    Thanks Lads,

Just one question on the BB/100 stat in poker tracker. Im 121BB/100 after 88 hands on 1 game and -27 after 134 hands on the other. When ive heard people mentioning this stat before the usuallty refer to 1 digit eg 6BB. Why are my stats so high and low, am i reading them wrong

You need a lot more hands. I'm 6.62/100 after 13k hands

Ok so, whats the equation for working out it so i can make sense of what it really means as if this is the case then this stat is useless unless the villain has at least 1000 hands recorded.

1 BB (aka a ptBB) is 2x the big blind. BB/100 is the amount of BBs you made divided by the number of hands played multiplied by 100.
If you look your BB/100 for all your hands instead of just one session you will see it settle down to a normal number.
