Got my new stuff but their was a mistake in the order, they didnt send an arrow rest or piles. and the screws for the sight are too long even with a clicker behind it.

    Anyone got any ideas?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hopefully if i can get enogh to assemble a fully working bow, i could shoot in the late group and get a bit of practice in the early groups first half if no one objects. This situation is gradually getting more infuriating.

The only thing that I can suggest re the sight is to space out the screws (im guessing that you are on about the screws that attach it to the riser) with washers or even a drilled piece of plastic.

Perhaps if you contacted Keith from ASI he may have suitable piles and a rest. There is also shooting style.

    Good luck.

aint got no washers, considered using paper. then realised how retarded it is. also training thursday and friday, prob not gonna be able to shoot before saturday. im looking for material solutions if possible.

Try a hardware shop for the washers, its the simplest and quickest solution.

noel came up with the idea of a coin behind the plate for the sight. so thats one problem solved, now just the small matter of piles and an arrow rest.

What i use at the moment (Only because i'm too lazy to get shorter screws) is an News of the World David Plate Euro1996 Silver Coin. Its all i could fine in a box of junk i had.

Its the same size as a 2 euro coin.

    What arrows did you get.
I have an old set of 28inch X10s you can use for the comp if you can't get yours fixed. And a spare Beiter rest too if everything else fails.

Triples.do you think id be better using a plastic arrow rest and aluminiums? might be able to get some sort of consistency but would the poundage be too high? (44lbs). or not shoot until saturday and use the x10s and beiter rest?

If you can use a hoyt plastic rest and aluminiums then go for that. The poundage should be no problem. Once your sights are set you should be fine. Just dont wory about how they fly. If they are grouping then use them.
