    hey just wondering do people know how much of the media ruport murdoch owns and could they list what they know, ive heard multiple rumour about him owning papers like "the sun" and "the mirror" but cant be sure how true that is, ive even heard rumour hes involved with TV3!

    This was on the mediaGuardian web site - one of his 'stab;e'just shows how much he is committed having papers - regardless of the price


    "In the 12 months ending in June 2002, Times Newspapers lost £16.3m. This grew to £28.7m the following year, £40.1m in 2004 and £46.9m in 2005.

    The company has lost £212m in the five-year period from July 2001 to June 2006"

    Murdoch, like O'Reilly, isn't committed to having papers, he's committed to blocking out his competitors wherever possible. If that means making a loss, so be it - he makes more than enough from the other subsidaries to make that insigificant.
