The Pointy end of a MTT

2 Consecutive hands in a 4 Handed MTT final table. 3 get paid. Top 2 get the money worth having.

    Blinds 3000/6000.

    Seat 1 -HERO - 30K
    Seat 2 - Player A - 22K
    Seat 3 - Player B - 30K
    Seat 4 - Player C - 45K

Hand 1 - UTG folds. Hero gets JJ on the button - pushes.
    Hand 2 - Hero UTG gets 99 - pushes.

Is there anything else you could do this shallow stacked?

Got called neither time, increased my stack by over 50% in two hands. I consider this play bog standard at this stage of a tourney. These two plays got slated by rail birds, hence the question.

Well you shouldn't show hands imo, Both pushs are standard imo. This tourney is a crapshoot and at this stage it will come down to whoever can hit cards...

You hands are irrelevant. You should be pushing any two cards as long as you are opening the pot.

I wouldnt usually show these hands myself because i dont show anyway if dont have to.. but why is so bad to show? His opponents have just been shown that he requires a fairly strong hand to push with. If any of them are trying to limp into the money, they'll play uber tight to any of his future raises expecting to see similar hands. Thus his chances of stealing with any two later are much better.

Stacks are far too shallow anyway for anything other than push
