    Hi,

Does anyone know if there is such a thing as a flash cart (similar to gba and DS carts) for older consoles like SNES, Mega Drive, Master System et al.

I'd love to be able to play roms, homebrew etc on the original system instead of being emulated on pc!

I have scoured the net and I have come up with next to nothing so far.

As far as i'm aware such a device doesn't exisit for the old formats and if they did they would be pretty illegal! I'm afraid your stuck with emulators for the moment:)

Could you get one of those adapters that let you play gameboy carts on the snes and just get a gameboy flashcard?

Agreed but they cant be a whole lot more illegal than than the GBA flash carts or DS-X DS flash cart......I'm guilty on both charges!!

Well thats true! How many roms can you fit on one of those cards as a matter of interest?

These folks seem to do flash carts for old consoles - http://www.tototek.com

Can't comment on the quality though.

Decent graphics card with customizable tv out resolutions and its perfect emulation if you play it on a tv.

Ps2 pad is possibly the best all rounder for everything bar N64 games.
