Dragon cam sometimes won't open C4 etc -- normal?

    Have a FTV card, in a Dragon cam (4.1) in a Technomate 1500. At times the C4 etc won't open with the TM saying "Scramble channel". Checking the dragon menu on the TM shows something like "not decrypting". Ejecting the cam and re-inserting fixes it, or turning off/on the receiver.

    Just wanna know is this normal behaviour for a dragon cam, or maybe is mine a bit faulty?

    Only a Sky Digibox is g'teed to work with a FTV card.

    Dragon CAM may work today or yesterday, but is not supported. Also with a real Skybox the Interactive and EPG works, also channels are automatically tuned.

    Use the Technomate for FTA or other pay TV with authorised CAM.

    We've warned folks before that Dragon CAM is not a reliable or friendly end user route to go even with legitimate cards.


    I'd say this is not unlikely kind of problem.
