Any advice - greatly appreciated. Dont want to have to sell again in 6 months. Have a Grand Vitara now, but seperating means I will have to sell to clear loan on it.....
    Thanks.

If you don't need the 7 seats or larger luggage compartment in the Pug then go for the Skoda - much nicer to drive, imo.

Skoda wins hands down - much better car better spec better engine and excellent to drive plus you could fit a small African village in the boot! There's no comparison.

Octavia ...hatchback or estate? ...or do you actually mean the Fabia estate?

Or are you thinking about the Peugeot 307 SW?

Because Octavia and 206 don't really compare at all ...

The 206 is a smaller class car than the Octavia. Even though the 206 SW is an estate it is still quite small being based on a supermini platform, not as practical as the Octavia's huge boot. Rear leg room in the Octavia is very good too.

Im debating which to get - the Peugeot 206SW or the Skoda Octavia hatchback. But think its going to be the Skoda, although the Peugeot looks nicer!!
    Cant decide:confused:

Looks pretty on the side of the road or actually drives on the road..you decide!!

Well, the running cost on the Peugeot should be cheaper ...after all you can get it with a 1.1 petrol or 1.4 diesel engine. The smallest Octavia is 1.4 or 1.9 respectively.

The Octavia should be largely trouble free though ...not always the case with the 206.

doesn't seem like much of a contest between these 2 cars, the octavia all the way. but they aren't even in the same car class, is there a reason why these are your only options?
