Ugrading Laptop MiniPCI cards

Thinking of seeing if I can upgrade my laptop centrino mini wifi card from an intel 2200BG to a 2915ABG. Reason being need to move to an 802.11a network. Anyone know if its possible, and if all the 2915 card are interchangable between different brands of lappy?

Should be do-able as miniPCI is a standard, however the 2915 you source will just have to make sure it's the same type of interface as there are a few variations as you can see in the Wiki link though I imagine most Intel miniPCI cards confirm to one particular type.
