Nah, when I first saw them it was a huge venue and they were much better then than they were in Crawdaddy, TBMC gig ftw!

I won't be able to go home for these gigs, but I'm glad they changed venue. Not a huuuge fan of TBMC either and not to say the Feb gig wasn't mooost excellent, but it'll have a better atmosphere I'm sure.

Anybody heard the new album yet?

Yeah that's a bit odd that. Went to see God Is An Astronaut last weekend and the staff in Crawdaddy were giving away lots of tickets for 65days. Me mates got 4 each! I bought mine as soon as tickets went on sale!!

Im pretty sure more than 66 tickets have been sold.. however Crawdaddy giving them away isnt a great sign. I guess its close enough to their last concert (which was only okish thanks to the cramped venue) and also close enough to the God is an astronaut gig that people might not have an appetite for more post rock right now.

It must have been selling well enough if it was upgraded from Crawdaddy, certainly more than 65 or so tickets. However, TBMC, 600 capacity... 'tis a big venue to fill.

Any good? Did they have the visuals 'n stuff?

Couldn't afford to get home for this one. Saw them on Sunday though and it was savage.

yeah, it was great. full visuals. there was a good few in, wasn't packed though.

Can anyone confirm that 65days are playing dublin next tues/wed.
I seen it somewhere and cant find the link, Hopefully the site info wasnt out of date.
Cant find any info on there home site.

No you must have read wrong info, they were listed as playing
July 13th: Mantua Festival, Ballaghadereen, Ireland
maybe thats the one you saw mentioned
