did anybody used this lens? It is old glass but looks like you get enough for your money...well if you get one in good condition

I have one since my film days and have used it on my D70s,I think it's excellent-very sharp even wide open.

A real lens made of metal, built like a tank, mine still looks like new.

Cons(maybe) its quite heavy,it has screw driven focusing so its never going to be as fast as an AF-S and might hunt occasionally, but the D version is quite good.
The push-pull zooming takes a bit of adjusting to if you're used to using a ring type.
For me as its a film lens the angle of view on a digital (equiv. to 105-315) is never wide enough to use as a 'walk around' lens

    thx,

D version is on the way. Not mad into push pull zoom but sharpness and speed is more important for me.

seen some reviews and looks like this is one solid old skool lens
