Hi can anyone help me? My vc game that i downloaded is not loading correctly nearly every time in that the picture shakes continously up and down and no amount of reseting or plugging in and out the machine seems to do the trick, got it to work fine once, shere fluke though cus it didn't again after.

Am I doing something extraordinarily stupid and obvious or is the machine infact broken?boo if it is:mad: ,thanks for any help!

Is your TV a new or old one, and how are you connecting it?

On a lot of older ones this can happen because of the frequency, in which case adjusting the Vsynch (if you have the ability to adjust it) should sort the problem.

its pretty much brand new one, its a Phillips 23" flat screen and i'm connecting it directly with the 3 red white and yellow plug ins, not through the scart plug though, maybe I should try it through the scart, I'm sorry I dont know what you mean when you say "Vsynch", not the most tech savvy when it comes to the new tv's as this is my first flat screen, totally new technology to me really. I was looking around the internet for anybody else who has this problem and it turns out there was but they solved by using nintendo component cables, those are the 5 to 17 pronged leads for hidef aren't they, sadly my tv doesn't have the inlets for those leads, got it free so...

So am I going to have to buy a higher spech tv to play low spech games? well that sucks, was looking forward to playing a bit of sim city, nads.

Hi shmaido, I have the same television as you. I use the scart supplied with the Wii and have similar problems with Vc games. I change from wide screen to one of the other options and this seems to solve the problem. It doesn't seem to matter what setting its on but once I change to a different one it solves my problem. As far as I can find out there is a fitting to convert the component cables to fit the Philips TV, cant find info at moment if anyone knows maybe let me know.
