Down to last 85, 50k for 1st. Sitting on 45k, avg 40k. Really soft so if I get some cards it could be a good payday!

Nar, gone in 33rd or so. Made $250 profit after my 5 rebuys, plus AUS$1k for a last longer with the two fish halibut2 and Conor Doyle, so not too bad :D .

Not sure I played very well in the late stages, I was fairly confused in alot of situations. The early stages were just like a PLO cash game, because the blinds were so low relatively, so I knew exactly what to do in most situations, but when the blinds got big I didn't really know what I was doing. For eg, 9 handed table, sitting on 50k, blinds 2.5k /5k, you get QQJ8 dbl suited utg. I didn't have a clue what to do in alot of these situations.

Eventually went out with AKQ9 with clubs. Blinds 2.5k/ 5k, about to go 3/6. Raising machine made it 15k in early position and I pushed for 35k, just gambling really. Got it in 3 way against KKTT and some other junk. Flopped the nut flush draw but no help. Not even sure if I should have gone with that hand.

I reckon I would have done better if I'd had a bit more experience in the latter stages of these tourneys. Anybody got any pointers?

EDIT to say I think there's a HUGE amount of value in those omaha tourneys, the players were terrible. Towards the end they were a good bit better, just need to figure out how to play shallow stacked omaha a bit better.
