Hotdog Magazine - RIP

I've been wondering why the new issue of Hotdog magazine was so slow in coming. A trip to the ever-reliable Wikipedia tells me that the magazine was closed in November of last year.

I'm really disappointed to hear this. At one point, Hotdog was easily the second-best film magazine ever made (after Neon). Even towards the end, when they'd compromised mercilessly, they were still miles ahead of the competition. How rubbish like Total Film can be profitable by peddling such mediocrity is beyond me.

    Ah yes, Neon  .
Still fondly remembered even if it's been defunct for a good ten years or more :(.
