can anyone shed some light on this, say deposit 100 euro onto any site, and join the 5c/10c tables, maybe 6 table them, with $15 on each table or so, and litterally just sit back and wait for the AA, KK, QQ hands and try and get as much action from them as possible, folding pretty much everything else. can money be made doing this?

phantom_lord, i know u are (were?) multi-tabling the low stakes, what was your starting roll, your targets, strategy??

open a new A/C with VC and reg for the $750 bonus. you have until 20th April to clear it. I posted a chat i had with the VC manager in the bonus whoring thread.

Lodge €550, without much delay withdraw all bar what you want to leave in.. I recommend $90.

Go to 25c/50c NLH... sit with $30 on each table, raise every unopened hand from C/O Button to 4xBB, put it to bed with a 8xBB bet on the flop. Get paid off consistently with your better hands.

Day 2 - withdraw ur $90 and play with there money, play 10k hands and collect bonus.

    simple as....

few extra hints.... go to the tables with the shortest stacks, smaller average pots - guys are more likely to get it in on marginal holdings you will hoover up their chips. Withdraw at least €100 a week, sit back and laugh at the standard.. Its that straight forward...

also uber agression works alot - you will spot the guys trying to hold onto their last $12.. pick on them. Think i had a vpip of 36 and a BB/100 of 21 over a sample of my hands.

finally - dont sit at my tables.

    good luck.

I lodged $500 at the end of dec started at .10/.20, when I reached 20 buy-ins for the next level I moved up, about to hit 1/2 now, would have been there earlier if it wasn't for withdrawals

I'll prob wait til I get 30buyins before considering any higher.

tbh i don't think that strategy would work, a tag game at 6max is the nuts really and your gonna lose a ton of value by only playing so ridiculously tight.

I could probably write a lot more...but here's just some basics.
    • get pt/pahud.
    • find a good bonus to do and get rb.
    • pick good loose tables with deep stacks
    • always buy in for the full amount.
    • don't open limp
    • button steal a ton
    • c-bet almost always
    • value bet stations lots
    • semi-bluff/play draws and made hands the same
    • try not to get too creative at the lower stakes
    • understand it's all about the long term, don't tilt/let beats affect you
    • don't get results orientated
    • work on pot control esp oop or with weakish hands
    • don't call bets without the correct odds/implied odds.
    • give the incorrect odds to draw against your made hands, but don't overbet it, try not to offer any implied odds.
    • set mine as much as possible.
    • play uber tight from the sb and very loose on the button
    • stack people lots!

If you plan on doing it seriously I'd recommend buying a 20+inch lcd screen btw.

The biggest and most common mistake I noticed at those stakes was people not letting go of AA KK and getting stacked for huge amounts relative to the blinds. For the most part, if it looks like you are beat, you most likely are.
Conversly, bet the fùck out of sets etc, people can't lay down a hand.
