Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I'll get the ball rolling with a few items that I found very useful to have (permanently) in my camper.

    - a proper gas lighter that stops you from burning your fingers when you get the dinner going
    - a can opener and a corkscrew
    - a little brush and dustpan
    - a generous supply of kitchen roll and bin bags
    - those non-slip mats for the insides of the cupboards
    - a torch
    - superglue
    - ducttape ...you always need ducttape :D
    - a few spare fuses

I see your list. I have all your list in there already. And I'll raise you:

    - HiViz jacket for the occasional breakdown.
    - Small selection of tools and a few prudent spare parts for the same reason. (including selections of engine oil and gearbox/brake fluid)
    - Water container for 'day water' if I'm out for the day e.g. dog show, rather than camping, it saves filling my on board water tank if i just want a small amount of water for the kettle, dog water bowls etc. Generally kept empty, but rinsed and filled for those occasions.
    - The CB lives permanently in a cupboard, except when its plugged in for use.
    - The camper book, which contains all my insurance details, a very handy sheet telling me which fuses do what in my fusebox, and other useful info (engine number, gearbox code, full service history and all receipts)
    - baby wipes (which ought to be renamed miracle wipes!), dog poo bags (scented nappy sacks), and dog towels (don't need to be exclusively for the dogs, very handy if you get in out of a downpour)
    - dehumidifier box thing (with absorbent crystals)...generally winter only.

All my 'camping stuff' [kettle, tea, coffee, cutlery, plates, coffee plunger, mugs, gas bottles, electric fan heater, gas heater, pots, pans & cooking utensils, chairs etc all stays in permanently too. Oh, and a tub of powdered milk, for the emergency cuppa - I use my camper as my daily driver, so not always carrying fresh milk when I need it :D ]
