    Right and are you getting any kind of picture at all on the TV?
    or is it just blank? does sound work?
    what kinda video card you got?

    the screen is blank nothing on it.it has agp4x video.

    Right click on the desktop to bring up the Display properties. There should be a 'TV out' tab or button to click.

    What does that show, can you grab a screenshot (CTRL + PrtScr) and upload it so that we can see the options?
