    Hi Folks,

I am planning on changing my wedge soon to a 58 or 60 deg.

I would be grateful if anybody has any comments or suggestions on either the Cleveland CG10 or the Mizuno MP-T Wedges?

    Thanks in advance.

I don't have any playing experience with either of those wedges. I do play mizuno wedges though(Tour Series 56* and Black Ox 60*) and I love them. So I would probably lean towards the MP-Ts. CG10s are apparently a great wedge though I've never played with one.

Have you considered the Taylor Made Rac Tp wedges

It features Y cutting grooves which really give great spin on the golf ball.

Also, go for a 58 degree wedge. You can open the face to give it 60 degrees or close it to give a 56 degree.

The cleveland wedge is more accomplished in the wedge market. The advantage of the Mizuno wedge, they are forged, so there is a softer feel when you hit the ball

golfreview is a great website for giving you reviews of the clubs

Have a look at the user reviews and then decide

i'd got for the cleveland ahead of the mizuno myself. the cg-10s are going for very good prices online.

if it was me though I wouldn't go for either. I'd get either the callaway x-tour, the RAC tp or the titleist spin milled. but thats just my opinion.

I have a Cleveland CG-10 Gap Wedge (52*). Bought it cheap off ebay - it was actually modified to 54*, so had to get it bent back to 52*, which was a hell of a job.
I am very happy with the club, but for my level of play, it doesn't make much difference if I use a $200 club or a $50 rip-off. (I also have a clone of a 60* cleveland wedge that I am just as happy with).

Many thanks for the comments folks.

@swingking - Thanks. Duly noted. I'll look into that.

    @daveym - I'll check these out. Thanks.

@Diego - I have to agree with you here. I have a ProGen wedge at the moment and I play very well with it. For the level of play to do, I don't know how much better or worse a Cleveland/Mizuno/Tayler Made wedge will do for me.

I'm heading over to NYC in March and they are quite cheap over there so, really I was looking and picking something up before I came back.

    Thanks again.

Do you know where to go in NYC? I went there 1.5 years ago with the better half thinking I'd pick up one or two cool clubs cheaply.

The only shops I found were "mainstream" toursit spots and prices were the same as here - add in the hassle of bringing them abck and it wasn't worth it...

I'm sure there is great value to be had , but it may need research....
