Complete Signal Loss in East Cork

Hi there. I've just lost all signal in East Cork off an FTA system that had been functioning fine for six months, and zap, everything dropped at about 3pm today. Has dropped in the past, but always came back in a minute or so.

The dish looks pretty secure, and nothing moved it today. The TV connections are all fine.

Anyone else having a problem in East Cork / Youghal area? (Not sure if area matters...)

    Thanks (first time post)

    Anthony.

Unless a volcano has erupted locally then there is no reason to expect a location problem.

How did service stop? Did it pixelate first or go from a perfect picture to a blank screen? Is your box indicating no signal available. Is the receiver still working? Still picking up RTE or on that TV?

Could be something as simple as a plug fuse or a dish moving off alignment. You'll have to give more details about the problem to zone in on the fault.
