BB and phone not working at the same time

    I have a few friends(eircom) Who have this problem with their BB.

    Basically when their online and the phone rings there internet craps out.

    Does anyone know why this occurs and is their a possible suggestion on how to fix this?

    Could be a filter problem, have they connected the DSL filters on all the telephone jacks that share the same number as the DSL?

    Install DSL Filters

    Do you have wireless phones? If yes > swap your wirelss BB channel in the router.

    DECT cordless phones don't interfere with WiFi. Different band. TV Video senders and baby alarms can be on same band and interfere.

    Mostly likely a missing or faulty filter.
