...Ireland lost their next three games? Am I the only one ( no doubt I am) who thinks that that would be a good thing.

Granted coming in the same year as a World Cup that's not ideal but it would force them to sort out the errors in their game such as the lineout, giving away penalties at the breakdown.

I know for many players this world cup will be their last but look how far Ireland came following the last World Cup. For many players they may decide that will be the time to call it a day and I think we need to look for replacements for these players now so those who do decide to retire can break the new players in so to speak and teach them a few things before they go.

For the World Cup in New Zealand, as it is now we have good players who don't live up to their potential when they put on a green jersey.

It's been said that with the Munster forwards and the Leinster backs we can't go wrong. But the team never seems to fully live up to that.

Ireland's best ever chance to win a world cup is this year. All of Ireland's key players are in their prime. I can't see Ireland having as strong a team 4 years down the road.

yeah but I mean there is no way we will beat new zealand so we may aswell focus on the six nations.

There is every possiblity another team may beat NZ, a team which we could then beat. We ran Austrailia v close last RWC and they could concievably beat NZ on a good day if NZ had an unlucky / bad performance.

Or even the World Cup in France?
