Zen issues

My zen has twice taken to deleting some 3,000 songs from my drive, i sync it up with the computer and they go, first time i thought it was purely because the music wasn't on the computer too but the second time I had all teh same music on the pc too as i was going abroad so i kept it as a backup and yet it happened again.…

I've tried reformatting the drive after the first time but that didn't fix the problem, any ideas?

I don't think the Sync function is praticulary effective - in future just add/delete files using the zen media explorer programme.
