    Try www.cpu.ie and www.gigsmartireland.com

Both have musicians wanted boards as part of their forum. Note: don't post an add on the general board, there's specialist forums for members wanted notices.

Also, maybe try the forums of your favorite local bands. People will be into the same music but ensure you state your age and location.

Other than that I'd say set up a bebo and myspace if you haven't already and put up either demos with an old singer or instrumental demos while including a note on your page stating that you're looking for a singer.

Physical notices are probably best put up around your school/college if that applies. Any potential singer that would see a sign in TBMC or wherever is probably already with a band.

Keep your eye out for bands in your area that might be similar enough in style and age. I know is harsh but young bands tend not to have extensive life expectancies so if they break up, offering a ready made set-up for the singer or even backing vocalist might be appealing to them and you'd have an idea of their quality from their previous band.

In the meantime, I think working on instrumental music would be worthwhile. As a singer, if I were looking for a band and they had nice progressions and musical parts pieced together already over which I could toy with different melodies and ideas that would make life very easy.

    Hope it helps

    brave kid
