Sligo Rovers to host Poker Tournament

    In what is the first fundraising initiative for 2007, Sligo Rovers will be hosting a Poker Texas Hold-em tournament in the Radisson Hotel Sligo on Sunday 25 February next.

    The Texas Hold-em craze, familiar to late-night Sky TV viewers, is sweeping across Ireland and poker fans in the North West will get the chance to take the first prize of a car on the night.

    Hughie Blain, who is organising the event on behalf of the Sligo Rovers Management Committee, is infectious in his enthusiasm.

    Event Details
    Entry is €100 plus a €15 registration fee (Tickets are only available on the door)
    Registration 3pm To 4pm (first come first served basis)
    Event Starts 4pm
    Food Inclusive

    Read more. A poster if also available to download on the Rovers site there so weather you're going or not, if you can, please print one off and put it up at work/college or wherever. Thanks!

    I don't like the thought of my home town team being associated with CPT, but that being the case, please follow the charter for tournament forum posting please or else this thread is going nowhere.

    I know how you feel 5star, was going to post here but couldn't get the structure.

    Basic Details are 100+15 entry
    50 Top up (wtf) and 50 Rebuy (wtf)

    First Prize is a car and 10k in other prizes, might be a fundraiser but alot of the prices have been sourced by the club so they should make some decent cash for the club and there will be a good few newish players i reckon.

    Come on the Bit O Red.
