You're asking about a "charm" that "cures" warts...on a MEDICAL forum?

They don't work. Warts are caused by a virus. Is there a "charm" to "cure" HIV too?

Salycyclic acid (I presume this is the treatment you tried) works for most people, but you might have to have cryosurgery (it's just a q-tip dipped in liquid nitrogen to freeze the wart, it's then excised with a scalpel, although you need to go a few times to get it totally removed).

I had two warts on my hand when I was a child, and the cryosurgery (which is quite painful) didn't work, but the salycyclic acid did!

Your immune system plays an important part in getting rid of warts too, so make sure you're taking all your vitamins, eating properly and getting enough sleep.

Yes it is called going to your dr and having them treated and needs be frozen off; But if you really want a list of cure's and charms I suggest you try posting in the paganism forum for a disscussion on the pro and cons of such a thing.

I remember reading waaaaay back about some success with hypnosis for warts. I kid you not. Apparently with susceptible types it worked. Might explain the charm part. I'll try and hunt down the article.

Actually a quick google pulled this down.

It seems it may be a blood supply issue.

Rejoice in the awareness of feeling stupid, for that’s how you end up learning new things. If you’re not aware you’re stupid, you probably are.

When I was a child, I remember hearing they could be cured by rubbing the milky substance from inside dandelion stems on them - is that the "charm"?
