China Visa and Vaccinations?

I'm heading to Shanghai in March and I was wonderig if anyone knew if Vaccinations are required, some sites yes others say no if your only staying in the cities which I will be.

Also can one person submit Visa request's for a few, i.e. if 3 of us are travelling do all 3 of us need to go to the Embassy or can one person submit all 3 applications?

Im going to China in August. Im pretty certain you dont need vaccinations.

If you want to make sure, ring or visit the Irish vaccinations office, its in Dun Laoghaire. they'll be able to confirm.

Dont know about droping in applications, probly be best if you could all make it

I was told i needed a load of vaccinations. I know people who have went without any and they get on fine. The Hep A and Hep B ones I got take about 6 months to get fully immunized (lasts 10 years) - which reminds me I must get them finished! The only one I didn't have that I was slightly worried about was Rabies.
