dell monitor

been cleaning up my old dimension pc to pass on to a mate, after defragmenting the hard drive my display drivers have gone. so all i get is a 4bit display. went to dell site downloaded another driver but computer said the most up to date driver had already been installed. any clue?:confused:

Try removing the driver, restart the computer and then reinstall it when Windows picks up the graphics card.
