    ok,.... big match-up tonight

Sugar Shane Mosley vs Luis Collazo

probably a case of "outgoing" vs "upcoming" here as 35 year old Shane, clashes with 25year old Callazo.

    pro's for Sugar Shane :
    1. experiance - has fought the best at top level in various weights, always giving a great account of himself apart from the vernon forrest match ups. has taken dela hoya out on points fairly and squarely.

    2. weight - shane is really a weight up from Callazo,..... its only half a stone, but it makes a huge difference at that top level. heavier usually means stronger.

    3. no stranger to las vegas ,...shane should have a large majority of the fans backing tomorrow. the orthadox fighter should be in tip-top shape ,and finds training pure enjoyment.

    4. speed - one of the quickest fighters i have ever seen,...he has lost a bit of that speed against Vargas, but still had enough to knock the tough mexican out in round 6 of a lobsided affair.

    Pro's for Callazo :
    1. a tough and slick southpaw , who also fancies his speed as his biggest advantage. not afraid to mix it up in the middle either.
Luis came out of the shadows when he was the big underdog in a match-up with Dick Hatton. Callazo looked like knocking the Manc clean out if the fight had of been 30 seconds longer.

    2. ranked 15th in the world , he is probably closer to carrer peak than Shane.

    3. has 2 losses in the last 7 pro years of boxing. his first loss came early in his carrer and his second a narrow points loss in the contraversial loss to hatton.
his last fight resulted in a 6 round KO victory against a little known east european.

should be a great match up guys n gals

    ODDS :
    S.S. MOSLEY - 4/11
    L. COLLAZO - 3/1
    DRAW - 25/1

Draw may be a good value bet on the exchanges with a view to selling late on in the fight.
But.......... my prediction is a Mosley points win @ evens (1/1)

reasons being that mosley may not be quite so sharp with his accuracy and speed as age takes it's toll. Shane has never been KO'ed and his last 4 or 5 years have seen all his fights go to points stage, apart from his 2 victories against Anto Vargas.
Also,... Collazo is not famous for his punching power,.. throws a large quantity of sustainable punches, only going to KO stage 5 times out of his last 13 matches.
Collazo hasnt knocked out anybody at top level.

NB ~: footage of Mosley's speed can be seen half way thru this video clip
