GPS on Nokia phones

Now that Nokia has announced it's putting GPS on all its phones, is satnav going to take off? Who'll use it? (You'll have to pay for voice guidance.) Will this put Garmin and TomTom under pressure?

When do you reckon satnav will become standard in cars here (as it is in Japan, where the satnav screen shows TV shows when you're stopped in traffic).
