Death/Hardcore Metal Band...

Looking for a Bass player and a Drummer to start with, maybe a second guitarist after that.

I'm tired of ****ing around, this is going to be a serious project of no frills, straight up honest music, mixing elements of death metal with hardcore and some prog type weirdness and everything else but just basically downright aggressive music.

Influence like bands.....

Terror, Isor, Six Feet Under, Lamb of God, Hatebreed, Dry Kill Logic, Nekkrosis, Raging Speedhorn, Nailbomb, Cult of Luna, After The Burial, Sworn Enemy, Bring Me The Horizon and other such wankery..

Rehearsals will be at least once a week in the city centre starting as soon as.....

I'm 22 if it matters....

I'd play bass for you but I don't know how to play any of that stuff. I only actually know half the bands you listed, like em though.

Hey man,im into alot of those bands,im forming a band at the moment,I have a vocalist and guitarist.
We hope to be like As I Lay Dying/Unearth but more death metal styled riffs.
Would you be interested in playing bass or guitar?

no its not, someone suggested a drum machine......

If any drummers think this is just another metal band and metals not a challange... I have to point out my 3 main influences in this project are, Metal(hardcore and otherwise), Prog type stuff (Cult of luna, isis, explosions in the sky etc) and classical(yes classical mainly solo piano stuff), all of which leads to one strange sound....

Hey man,im in th eprocess of starting a band,have all members apart from a second guitarist.
We're very influenced by Hatebreed,Bury Your Dead,As I Lay Dying,Unearth,Bring Me The Horizon etc.

Weird thing was, that I had quite a number of people that contacted me - but something would always happen at the very last minute. Guys swore blind they were well up for it, and then would just seem to cancel a meeting totally out of the blue and you'd never hear from them again .

I wouldn't mind but they never heard anything that I had written or had a chance to meet me in person. Then if they fecked off at least I'd understand . All of a sudden they would be "too busy" to be in a band... I couldn't figure out why they bothered even answering me in the first place - just seems like a waste of their time. Go figure...

So for now I'm just writing stuff myself, and laying down a few vocals on my 8 track. My guitar and Bass playing 'aint the best, but it's grand for fast aggressive Hardcore.

its been a few months now, and been writing loads of ****, stuff has taken a more melodic direction, tis more prog/metal than death really....
