    Just bubbled out of this, my QQ no match for J2(!) all in pre flop in a 60k pot. Shortstack was running well with about 50k after having JJ hold up 4 times over the course of the evening. Luckbox.

    shortstack caught me to but i was pot committed unfortunatly my 77 no good for his jacks althought the board of KQQA gave me lots of opportunities i missed them all.... went out 23rd.

    meh 5th. Struggled to get going, stack yoyo'd up and down during the first half of the tournament before I went on a nice run with all my big hands getting action and holding up.

    Bit of luck when I knocked out Bernie with TT vs AJ all in pre, flop had A & J, JP called for the runner runner straight and it duly arrived.

    Peaked at 60k, didn't see a hand in the all in fest last two tables. Did a good job of talking Mick Murphy out of a call in the hand that 30something exited. I had moved in on river with 78 on a JT874 board with 3 spades. The 4 came on the river and initially I wanted Mick to call as he had bet someone out of a dry side pot earlier with muck. Then he said 'can you beat trips?', obv I knew he had 44 so replied 'of course' and he folded 4's face up only needing to put 14k into a 45k pot.

    In the end I made a questionable call vs Mick preflop with 89o on the button. There was 38k in the pot and 14k for me to call leaving me 25k behind, blinds were 3k/6k so I would have 7 bb's if I fold or 4 bb's if I call and fold flop. I hit an 8 on the flop and called the rest of my chips off to be rivered by a flush.

    Shortstck, my comment to Mick when he was considering your 14k call was designed to make him fold, I pointed out his odds were screwed as he forget to factor in my hand for the side pot. I was hoping you were bluffing. Never mind gg etc. I cant believe you went out behind me after that 60k pot!!!
