    hey guys

    i got a milk snake about 2 months ago he shed just after i got him and it looks like he is about to shed again can anyone tell me how often they shed or is it just when the mood takes em

    I think the eyes usually go dull/opaque. That's a sure sign. Not sure how often the particular snake would have to shed, I'd ask where you got it heh.

    When young depending on how often & how much they eat they can shed after every feed.

    thanks faye he is a great feeder he takes two pinkies a week no problems at all takes em str8 away he is really plump and very active so as far as i can see he is very healthy

    if he is eating well & is gaining weight it sounds like he is fine! My corns can be a pain! My common boa will shed after he eats a rat so once every 2-4 weeks depending on how hungry he is.
