Film 4

Went to switch on film 4 last night after nine o,clock but could not access it because it wanted a pin number any body else notice this or have the kids been messing around with the remote?Also it wont allow me to access other channels it also wants a pin number.

Somebody has set up the Parental Control so. Parental Control can be got via Services button, then option 3.

Note that your default PIN is the last 4 digits of your viewing card number (unless your card was upgraded, in which case it was the last 4 digits of your previous card, calling Sky would help in this scenario if you don't know the PIN).

resident evil was on[brill film btw] and thats 18s
maybe they put on pin protection for movies at 9 thats 18's?
but it didnt come up for me.........

Apparently happening to others too, its to do with over 18s films on before 10pm.

Thanks for the replys lads it seems top have sorted its self out unless as The Driver and qwertplayert say it might have something to do with the films being 18 certs,will just have to wait and see the next time a 18 cert movie is on around 9 pm.:)
