    Advantages
    sentry drones hit at 120k, heavy drones move towards target at speed of mediums, and can keep up with frigs. mediums move at similar speeds to light drones.

    Disadvantages
    not much in the way of capacitor maintenance means excessive tanking will dry you out in about 10 minutes.

    alternatives
    if its too pricey changing stuff out to named items wont lower the effectiveness tooo much. if you change out the omni link and navicomps for extra cap chargers you can extend the tank time to about 15-18 minutes.

    This ship rocks, laugh as people try and hurt you, and then plough them down and inform them of your l33tness in local

    My last one died after tanking a Zealot, Hurricane and Dominix for about 3 or 4 minutes, the Hurricane died before i went down and the Zealot died seconds after.. this ship is truly great stuff, just keep an eye on your drones cos they tend to get attacked, if you cant use autocannons use more nos or neuts or blasters.

    This nasty piece of work can go close range and long range, its purely for gang support, if your camping a gate and you have tacklers to web / scram the target (and you dont get shot at cos it has no tank)

    With Quake ammo you will need to be at 20 - 25 kilometres but it will make bits of any armour tank, it does insane amounts of explosive damage.

    With Tremor you can snipe at about 75 kilometres, and do nice damage, altho more effective on armour tanks.

    Rocket launchers and ecm drones for anything that gets close to you

    orbit at 500m

    Let loose with nos and blasters. Blasters with antimatter at that range peel armour off and the nos is vital to drain enemy cap and supplement your own.

    Enable and disable the repairers as required.

    If you know you're going after something big load ogres otherwise go for the mixed drones. Mixed gives frigates and cruiseds a headache, if they ignore them they are dead, if they lock them they are dead cause they aren't hitting you. Smartbombs are your enemy though so if you get hit with them nos for all you're worth and keep the repairers on. You'll loose drones but be doing huge damage.

    Remember this is a knife fighting setup. Stand off beyond 2000m and you WILL die.

    Sin: I swapped the cap recharger for a sensor booster i think.. and took off the domination ****.. waste of isk ;p but rest works fine and is cheap enough.
    Can be a fun wee ship.. looking forward to CCP fixing this ship class.. So far only action its seen is to hot drop a caracal lawl.

    This will get you on your feet in terms of L1 mission running I think. Not sure if you will be able to fit it all - Drop the BCU [ Ballistic Control Unit] in lows for another fitting mod if you need it [ Either a RCU - Reactor Control Unit or PDS - Power Diagnostic System, or even a MAPC ..... I forget - its under engineering anyhow, Micro Adaptive Power Core? ]. You can also check out Scrapheap Challenge and their PvE ship fits forums. And their PvP ones too. Some of the fits are nonsense, but theres usually a lot of discussion about them there so you get to see a lot of different points of view.

    In terms of using it, the missiles should one volley most L1 frigates if not all. Get range as soon as you get in, start moving away from the enemy. Theyre very short ranged. You have decent range with the missiles, even with terrible skills. Use the shield booster only when you start hitting 50% shields. Dont turn it on to automatic, youll just waste cap.

    The resistance amps are set up to deal with gurista missions which deal mostly kinetic and some thermal. Change them as you need to depending on the enemy. Google will turn up a lot of good EVE mission running sites.

    Youll want a Caracal with Assault Launchers [ NOT Heavy Assault Launchers] for L2s.

    When youve got a relatively stable income source from missioning you want to consider what you want to do in EVE. Both of the above make ISK and dont cost much in training time specialised towards them. Going full on into mission whoring youll want a Drake/Raven but you can also switch over to Amarr or Gallente ships and pwn with them. Dominix is a fine mission runner.

    Your priority from day one needs to be making the ISK to get the advanced learning skills [ except Charisma which blows] and some implant set - +3s if you can get it, but even +2s or +1s are worthwhile so keep an eye on the loyalty point store].

    Try to avoid getting trapped in the mission running cycle [ Run missions to buy skills/ships to run missions faster so you can buy skills/ships to run missions faster....] - think of it as a source of income to do fun stuff. Most new players dive into PvE first, last about 6-7 months and then quit without trying PvP in any serious fashion. You actually havent got that much right now, so youve got nothing to lose so long as you keep your clone updated and insure your ships. Learn how to get your pod out of fights ASAP, when youre going down, [ i.e. youre in structure....] then select ANYTHING in space and stab the "warp to" button like a mofo ... and dont stop when you land. I havent lost a pod in low sec, like .... ever I think. Get your overview setup correctly [ again, google]

    You can dip into some [limited] PvP by joining one of the faction warfare corps. Youll remain safe in high sec, but youll be able to fight in low sec against enemies that will typically be fielding T1 frigates and cruisers.

    If youre short on ISK, beg in the Irish channel. Lots of rich mofos in there. They might tell you to **** off, but thats only a test. Keep asking.

    with the changes in dominion my mach atm has 6 + 68km range with barrage with gal bs 4 and 3 ambits, and does 1.5k even with two plates on and turns like a BC
