lcd monitor or emulator problem?

I got a samsung 732N lcd monitor there couple of days ago. I tried playing sonic on gens(gens.exe or gencyst not sure what its called) and I noticed the picture kinda tearing a little at the bottom. Thought ok maybe this is an emulator problem. Then I tried shinobi on mame and the screen tearing was very noticeable on 1st…

Then I tried shinobi on mame and the screen tearing was very noticeable on 1st level going up the railings as I moved from left to right(kinda hard to describe part of screen would bend to right).

Has anyone else ever had these problems?

Is it my monitor thats the problem or is it the emulators?

I just notice background things kinda bending as I move across the screen on 2d games
