Does anyone use the bike shed in Heuston for parking their bikes overnight?Am moving down the country and will be using the train to get to Dublin. I want to use my scooter to get around town - but worried about security.

Does anyone know if bikes are safe there?? Anyone know of any problems with leaving bikes there?

I know I wouldnt leave a skateboard locked up there let alone a moped. I am in a similar suitation and I wouldnt dream of doing that.

There are SOOOO many motorbikes and mopeds stolen in Dublin every day and never seen again, I think your only option would be to either rent a secure space in a nearby appartment block, that will probably cost a fortune, or if you knew someone in an appartment the might be able to give you access to a secure space.
I cant think of anywhere with 2 or 3 miles that I would park my bike for 1 night, let alone every evening & weekend. Maybe Im overly fussy, but I wouldnt leave my bike at work over night and it is in Ballsbridge with off street parking, security cameras and a security guard in the building monitoring the carpark.
Your other option is to cycle, either a fold up bike and bring it with you or a cheap crappy bike that you wouldnt miss if it was wrecked some night.
