Vietnam Visa

    Any know how any Irish lad goes about getting a vietnam visa or can I just pay at the boarder? This visa stuff is wreckin my head.

    You can get it before you go but have to send your passport too the Vietnam Embassy in London. Thats what I did, takes a few weeks and cost about 40 euro as far as I can remember? If you are going somewhere like Bangkok first there are plenty of places that will sort it for you there, only takes a day I think and costs the same. No big deal getting Visas for most of the countries either at the border of in any of the big cities on the way

    You can't get visas for Vietnam at the border, get it in an embassy or else check out what killbillvol2 was saying in this thread about visas on arrival in certain airports.
