Wireless Broadband Laptop problem

I have a Dell laptop with a wireless broadband connection with eircom.

Its been working fine for the last six months but now its stopped and can't seem to detect any wireless networks. The device manager says the wireless card in the laptop is working correctly.

    Any suggestions?

Not being funny but is the wireless switched off on the keyboard?
Theres usually a switch or button around the outside front or side of most laptops to switch the card on and off.

have you tried using a wired connection.

Maybe its a bit deeper than just the wireless connection
