    Some good prices there.

Check out hm-sat.de also. There is a sticky thread at the top of the forum too with other shops both online and "bricks & mortar"

I think that Comag is the same or similar to the ones that were sold by Lidl or Aldi some time ago.

It's probably OK yeah. Bear in mind it can only be connected via Scart, it has no modulator in it.

The most recent model sold in LidL was the comag 65

    Works fine

    pros - inexpensive
    remote is good enough
    straight forward menus
has teletext (useful if tv is without inbuilt text)

negs - as byte points out the limited connectivity is an issue. You'll need a video with scart INPUT if you want to tape anything or to run a signal via coax to tvs without receivers

I've had 2x comag Sl55s, both gave up due to power supply issues. Its a pity really as the software & features are quite good on these boxes. But the hardware quailty is rubbish.....

    Stay away from Comag.

I bought Comag 35 here for €40-( found via ebay) http://www.toci.de/xtcommerce/product_info.php/info/p9_ComAG-SL-35.html
site is only in German but when you have ordered you get an e-mail invoice in English , pay by std. EU transfer at bank low cost , delivery +-1 week , scart not included .

    pjq

Edit - Keanebg is right about SL55 , they overheated , have had SL35 for a year now and its fine .
Keanebg - you can have the SL55 fixed by Comag under 3 yr guarantee , e-mail comag and they will call back in English , they fixed mine in Tallaght .
