Dont Want to mess up the forum with lots of threads so ill maybe add 2-3 hands to each.

    Full Tilt Poker
    No Limit Holdem Ring game
    Blinds: $0.25/$0.50
    8 players

    Stack sizes:
    UTG: $23.65
    Hero: $27.95
    MP1: $53.45
    MP2: $48.20
    CO: $46.05
    Button: $19.25
    SB: $59.45
    BB: $30

Pre-flop: (8 players) Hero is UTG+1 with qc jd
UTG folds, Hero raises to $2, 2 folds, CO calls $2 (pot was $2.75), 2 folds, BB calls $1.5 (pot was $4.75).

Flop: qh as ah ($6.25, 3 players)
BB checks, Hero checks, CO checks.

    Turn: ts ($6.25, 3 players)
BB checks, Hero checks, CO checks.

    River: 4d ($6.25, 3 players)
BB bets $6, Hero calls $6 (pot was $12.25), CO folds.

    Results:
    Final pot: $18.25
    BB showed Qs Ac
    Hero mucks Qc Jd

I included this because i wanted opinions. I feel ive done a couple of things wrong here.

The table was playing extremely tight preflop, any raise in the region of $2+ was holding up so i was raising with a wide range of hands and collecting small pots. I was then showing my cards after taking down the pots pre-flop and if i started getting callers i was going to tighten up. I was getting good cards but i couldnt get heads up with anyone as they were all folding preflop so i wanted to entice callers who would now view my preflop raising range as very wide. What would you recommend in this situation.

The other thing is i should have had a full stack, i was multitabling and forgot to re-stack after losing in the above hand. I did re-stack after this hand. Just taught id mention that incase anyone thinks i play shortstacked.

So this was an awkward hand and i wasnt confident seeing the 2 aces. I wanted to keep the pot small so i checked to the river and would have been happy to check that down. I taught a raise here was just opening myself to a check/raise. I taught i was getting a good deal on the river and had to call......Comments Please

Jaysus those are tight for 25-50c. I would of lost more in the first hand, nothing wrong there. That over-bet in the 2nd is usually with the nuts.

    Hand 3:

I feel embarrased posting this one but here goes:

    Full Tilt Poker
    No Limit Holdem Ring game
    Blinds: $0.25/$0.50
    9 players

    Stack sizes:
    UTG: $58.95
    UTG+1: $49.50
    MP1: $36.10
    MP2: $10.05
    Hero: $50.40
    CO: $68.25
    Button: $8.75
    SB: $55.25
    BB: $18.75

Pre-flop: (9 players) Hero is MP3 with kc ad
    UTG folds, UTG+1 calls $0.5 (pot was $0.75), MP1 raises to $2, MP2 folds, Hero raises to $7, 2 folds, SB calls $6.75 (pot was $10.25), 2 folds, MP1 calls $5 (pot was $17).

    Flop: qc ts 2s ($22, 3 players)
SB checks, MP1 checks, Hero is all-in $43.4, 2 folds.
Uncalled bets: $43.4 returned to Hero.

    Results:
    Final pot: $22

I really think i lost the plot here, i just made a rash decision and my image pre-flop at this stage was im likely to raise with alot of hands but post-flop my image would have been tight.

Looking at this now i can easily put at least 1 of them on AA,KK,QQ,JJ and possibly AK maybe middle pairs like 99,TT but less likely giving a re-raise and 2 callers. So i dont know what made me do this but i know i didnt think it through and it was a knee jerk reaction On a positive side i rarely bluff and certainly not with bets of this size. My question is how much should i be bluffing at this level, i know i need to pick a better spot where i have a read but should i cut out bluffing altogether at this level. I just dont want to leave my game totaly predictable where i only show strength when i have a monster.

I'll speak proper English now, or properly. Anyway yeah the villan raised it pre flop and then continued to check it down to the river where he bet more then what was in the pot. You are not beating much to justify the call.

Hand 1. Fine. I like leading the flop as when you do this people tend to put you on top pair or less. The river raise makes you feel sick, but you probably have to call because there are quite a few worse 2-pair hands.

Hand 2. Fold pre-flop. Very hard to play QJo from that position. I like checking the flop and turn. I think you can find a fold on the river. With the size of the bet, the time it comes at in the hand, and the players position, I think it's rarely a bluff. Also he's probably not going to bet that much if he decides to value-bet a queen. Getting 2 to 1 you need to have the best hand here 33% of the time. I think your hand is good quite a bit less than that.

Hand 3. Actually you wouldn't be too unhappy getting all-in here with your overcards and gutshot giving you 10 outs against most made hands. I'm never quite sure whether to bet these flops. On the one hand you have 10 outs against any pair so it's a decent semi-bluffing opportunity. OTOH the flop hit a whole bunch of hands and a semi-bluff is unlikely to get through. Against 2 players and with the flush draw out there too, I would usually check behind here I think.

    Re: short stacked play
There's no shame in playing short stacked, play with whatever you feel comfortable with. Actually for tournament players moving to cash games I'd recommend playing short-stacked initially. Start with maybe 20 BBs, then move to 50, then 100. Going from tournament play where the average is about 20 BBs, straight to 100 BBs is a huge leap.
